A new month, Shevat, began a few days ago. The month of Shevat represents the growth of nature and humanity and is valuable for connecting spiritually to the Tree of Life. The letter corresponding to this month is Zadi.

This month, on the 15th of Shevat, we celebrate the end of winter with the first shoots sprouting, although there is still much silence, and everything seems to be sleeping in the depths of winter.

This Jewish holiday is also called Hag Lailanot, the festival of trees. Traditionally, a meal of first fruits is served on this day to celebrate the renewal of the life-death-life cycle. First fruits herald the arrival of spring, heralding the beginning of rebirth. After winter, flowering celebrates the plant's potential. We also experience it in ourselves. The celebration of this day invites us to manifest our potential. The Hebrew name for the word tree is Etz (עץ), derived from the letters Ain (ע) and Zadi (צ). The shape of Ain resembles a root, while Zadi resembles a tree. Like a tree, man also needs roots, ascending branches, and a trunk connecting Heaven and Earth.

The name Zadi means righteous. Accordingly, this letter represents the ability to make the desert bloom, as with the palm tree, the symbol of the righteous. According to Psalm 1, verse 3: Man is like a tree planted by streams of water, which will bear fruit in its season, whose leaves will not wither, and everything he does will be successful

Trees need care to place themselves in the right place; they only survive with firm roots. When we feel secure, and at ease in the world, our roots are strengthened, and we can grow and develop to our full potential. Righteousness can be achieved by learning a little bit to resemble a tree. After planting its roots and receiving proper nourishment, it can transform and pass this knowledge on to others.

The Zadi 18k gold jewel featuring a blooming Jacaranda purple-colored round brilliant cut gemstone inspires you to feel like a tree. To grow consciously as we strengthen our roots and understand our blessings and origins. To receive adequate nourishment that is healthy and pleasing to us. By blessing our body as a trunk and elevating our spiritual branches by recognizing that everything comes from above and giving thanks. Since all living beings are interconnected, like trees, we seek to share and communicate all the vitality we have acquired.
